Darryn is a professional, passionate, and dedicated chef who has experience in fine dining, casual dining, cafes, and organic cooking in both private and public sectors. He completed his degree in commercial cookery in South Africa in 2008 with 16 years’ experience in hotels, restaurants, and his private personal chef business www.noglutensugardairychef.com

Cooking for high profile clients in the Gold Coast and international celebrities in his personal cheffing business, kitchen consulting setting and launching cafes, customizing meals that fit in with his client’s nutritional needs and food intolerances. Assisting with weight loss and healthy eating through Personal trainers and Naturopath recommendations. Restaurant/kitchen consulting in both café and restaurant launchers.

His Skills include but are not limited to working as an Executive chef in the Queensland based business Gwinganna Health Lifestyle Retreat in Tallebudgera, where he specialized in cooking healthy, organic, seasonal meals designed to help with inflammation and weight loss. As well as 5-star hotels such as JW Marriott Hotel Gold Coast, 2 chef hat The Lake House Hotel in Victoria and The Square Boutique Hotel in South Africa.

He loves cooking healthy nutritional meals, sourcing local produce and supporting local suppliers.
